Our History
More About CNS Dance Studios
Having spent her youth successfully competing both locally and nationally at various dance festivals, our Principal, Miss Clare Newton Sheppard soon developed a passion for dance teaching.
In 2014, she was offered one of just 30 places at the prestigous Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in Chelsea, London.

By 2017 Miss Sheppard had graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Ballet Education awarded to her Patron of the RAD, Ballerina Darcy Bussell. Miss Sheppard is also a qualified Secondary School Teacher.

CNS Dance Studios was established in late 2017 to nurture aspiring young dancers in Walsall, West Midlands where it continues to thrive, offering Street Dance and Ballet classes to children aged 3-15 years.

Due to increasing popularity and demand, CNS Dance Studios is continuing to grow, expanding further afield into Staffordshire.

Classes We Offer
Beginners Ballet
This class is perfect for young beginners. Showcasing syllabus style work through play, creativity and discovery of space, rhythm and co-ordination. Suitable for ages 3-5years.
Intermediate Ballet
This class is suitable for age 6-8 years. Focusing solely around syllabus based work. This is a class in which technique, skill and artistry are refined.
Intermediate Street Dance
With a focus on building upon a range of foundation street dance styles this class is equipped for those with 'the moves'. In all CNS classes we focus on safe practice and students well-being when stretching. Perfect for ages 6-8years
Beginners Street Dance
This is the perfect class for those young groovers who like to bop around to their favourite contemporary songs. Working through play, imagination and rhythm. This class builds the foundation of a variety of street dance styles such as popping, locking, 'vogueing' and house. Perfect for ages 3-5 years
